Cornerstone Coffeehouse to Host Fine Art Show by Photographer Paul Emberger

Cornerstone Coffeehouse, located at 2133 Market St in Camp Hill, Pa will show fine art prints by regional award winning photographer Paul Emberger starting on May 2, 2010 and running through the end of the month. The show will open with an artist reception on May 2, from 2pm to 4pm.

Paul Emberger’s fine art has hung in galleries and venues throughout the region since 1991, including Arts at 510, Doshi Gallery for Contemporary Art and Oyster Mill Play House. His commercial work has appeared in magazines and in advertising campaigns for the past 13 years.

Emberger’s show is part of ongoing art presentations hosted by Cornerstone Coffeehouse. The walls of the coffeehouse serve as a gallery for community artists to showcase their talents. Artists are allowed to sell their works through the coffeehouse, but Cornerstone does not take a commission from the sales.

“This is just another way we are dedicated to the community,” said Sue Pera, owner of Cornerstone. “We see it as our mission to support local artists and introduce the community at large to the talent we have in Central PA.”

Emberger’s work will feature black & white framed photos from his series, “Portraits of Trees”, ranging from $40.00 to $100.00. Custom orders will also be taken. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Arbor Day Foundation.

Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
